Happy New Year!

Well, my friends, we have turned a new page in this new year. Not only have we changed years, but we have entered into a new decade. Sadly, one thing that has not changed is the fact that there are children out there who need you. This time 10 years ago, my family began our foster parent journey. I can’t begin to express how this journey changed our lives…for the better. I have always likened foster care to a job in the Peace Corps, “It’s the toughest job you’ll ever love.” Whether you are a foster, adoptive or kinship parent, you are changing the world and moving mountains for the children you are taking care of. THANK YOU!

The TFACA continues to seek out ways to help make the job of fostering easier for all foster parents in Tennessee. We are busy planning our Walk Me Home events for 2020. Keep looking at the website for dates and locations of the walks near you. Conference this year will be in Gatlinburg. What an exciting change. You will find more information about association meetings and our TFACA events on our calendar. Please send in any happenings in your area to tnfostercare.inc@gmail.com. We want to make sure your tribe can find ways to plug in where you are.
